Not every repair is as straightforward as it first appears. Our recent project at a fitness centre in Cardiff proved to be a clear example of how essential it is to investigate beyond the surface when tackling HVAC issues.
We were contacted to carry out repairs on several non-operational air conditioning systems within the facility. At first glance, it seemed like a routine service job. However, a thorough inspection revealed a much more serious issue — the external pipework had been vandalised and removed, leaving the systems exposed to the elements.
This damage had allowed rainwater to infiltrate the pipework, introducing significant levels of moisture into the systems and compromising their overall function.
