We were proud to play a key role in the development of one of Cardiff’s most visually striking and eagerly anticipated venues – The Ivy Asia. Sub-Zero Refrigeration and Air Conditioning LTD was entrusted with the full air conditioning installation for this high-profile project.
The brief called for a comprehensive and visually cohesive HVAC solution that would complement the restaurant’s bold and luxurious interior, while also ensuring climate comfort across multiple zones.

The ducted systems not only deliver efficient temperature control but also contribute aesthetically, with designer grilles that seamlessly integrate into the venue's opulent décor.
Following the successful completion of the main system, we were invited back to install an additional multi-VRV system to service the back-of-house staff areas. This upgrade ensured a comfortable and efficient working environment across all operational zones.
With a fixed deadline aligned with the restaurant’s grand opening, timing was critical. Our team worked diligently to meet the tight schedule, coordinating closely with other trades on-site. To ensure a flawless commissioning process, Daikin engineers were present for the system activation and handover.
